TRAVEL and ACCOMMODATIONS

Travel arrangements are made through Friends of Good Samaritan. In the past, members of the team assembled in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and the following day flew as a group to Cap Haitien, Haiti, on Lynx Airlines.  Recently, the team has assembled in Providenciales, Turks and Caico, and the following day flys as a group to Cap Haitien, Haiti, on Air Turks and Caicos. Accommodations are made at the Hotel Mont Joli in Cap Haitien, approximately 16 miles east of Limbe. Daily transportation for the team to and from the hospital is organized by Friends of Good Samaritan. In past years, we used to ride in the back of a pick-up truck - a great way to see the countryside. These days travel is in a van.  Opportunities also exist to stay at the hospital in Limbe.
